Hours

  • Check-in: 2pm
  • Check-out: 10am 
  • Our Reception & Tours office is open from 7am – 11am and 2pm-6pm
  • If you arrive outside of these hours the entrance may be locked. Please advise us and we can prepare a late check in for you. 

Booking & Payment Policies:

  • Full payment is required at time of booking to secure your reservation.
  • Changes or additional nights booked upon arrival can be paid for by MasterCard or Visa at the property. Please note a surcharge is applicable on all card transactions.
  • Once checked-in, your reservation is non-refundable. 
  • All taxes are included within the room rate.
  • You must present a valid passport or driver’s license at check-in, failure to do so may result in cancellation of your booking.

Travelling with minors

  • Guests under the age of 18 are only accepted when travelling with a parent or legal guardian. 

Cancellation Policies:

  • In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 48 hours of your arrival you will forfeit 1 night’s rate per person, this is non-refundable. You can date change complimentary but this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your original booking arrival date. 
  • Any changes to your reservation must be agreed with the property prior to checking in.
  • If you do not arrive for your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.

Parking

We have free access to the wake park carpark which is available for guests. It is a 50metre pathway distance to the lodge. 

Mackay Adventure Lodge, takes no responsibility for vehicles left in the car park. 

Hotel Events

Mackay Adventure Lodge is located right on the lakeside of the wakeboarding park. Sporting and music events are held there from time to time but noise is always minimised after 10pm. Major events annually held there include Rumble on the Reef in September school holidays. 

Alcohol

We have a licensed bar on site, and so you may not consume your own alcohol in the property at any time. Failure to comply with this will result in immediate removal from the property.

Our managers / lodge hosts live on-site and are available 24/7 to ensure you have the best stay possible.
