At the lodge we abide by all current QLD Heath advice.
Our Reception & Tours office is open from 7am – 11am and 2pm-6pm.
If you arrive outside of these hours the entrance may be locked. Please advise us and we can prepare a late check in for you.

Yes, we have a locked storage room for luggage.
Yes, we have free access to the wake park carpark which is available for guests. It is a 50metre pathway distance to the lodge. Mackay Adventure Lodge, takes no responsibility for vehicles left in the car park.
Yes, we serve a yummy fruit and continental breakfast daily.
Guests under the age of 18 are only accepted when travelling with a parent or legal guardian.
Yes, currently there are flights daily with Virgin Australia, Jetstar and Qantas from Brisbane to Mackay direct. Connecting flights can be booked to and from Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth. From mid 2022 there will be airfares with new airline Bonza flying direct from Sunshine Coast, Cairns and Melbourne. Check the website for more details.
Mackay Airport is 15 minutes drive (10klms) to the accommodation. Once you are on Beaconsfield Road turn at the lights onto Superior Bvld and then take the 3rd exit off the roundabout into Poco Place. You will be in the car park right next to the wake park lake and you should be able to see the Adventure Lodge. Park anywhere you can and follow the signs along the footpath to the lodge entry gate.

- In the event of a no-show or cancellation within 48 hours of your arrival you will forfeit 1 night’s rate per person, this is non-refundable. You can date change complimentary but this must be done at least 48 hours prior to your original booking arrival date.
- Any changes to your reservation must be agreed with the property prior to checking in.
- If you do not arrive for your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.
You are literally staying right on the wake park lake, less than 10metres away from the Mackay wake park. This is the closest accommodation to Wake House Australia possible.
